Services for Clients
You may have conducted your own trial, or your trial attorney is
not interested in appealing your case.

NOTICE OF APPEAL |
|
| |
 |
Your case is important to you. An appeal can be an
expensive and time-consuming process, with a sometimes
uncertain outcome. Some cases are worth appealing, but
others are not.
I can review your case for a small fee and let you
know whether taking an appeal is worth the time and
money involved. |

 |
APPELLATE BRIEFS |
|
| |
 |
Once your case has been accepted for appeal, it may pose a new or important constitutional or statutory
question that has not been answered by the courts, would
benefit by a state-by-state comparison of law, involves
legislative history, or requires the presentation of
a complex fact situation.
I can furnish a well researched, well documented, well
written, and good-looking brief. |

 |
APPELLATE ARGUMENT |
|
| |
 |
Cases can be lost by an unfocused oral presentation.
With only a few minutes to state your arguments, and
with the likelihood that the judges will have probing
questions, appearance in court by an experienced appellate
practitioner can often help.
I can efficiently and professionally argue your case
to the court. |

 |
TERMS |
|
| |
 |
I work for a competitive
hourly rate. Unless I am just evaluating your case for
appeal, I generally require an up-front retainer before
I begin. In any case, my bills contain a detailed
accounting of time and costs. |
